Dr. Castillo’s journey in dentistry began in her home state of Florida, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Nova Southeastern University. She further pursued her passion for healthcare by completing a Master’s in Biomedical Sciences at Barry University, followed by a Doctorate of Dental Sciences Degree from Howard University in Washington, DC.
Committed to the belief that “compassion is the cornerstone of dentistry,” Dr. Castillo actively engages in outreach initiatives for underserved communities. Her humanitarian work includes providing dental care in Jamaica with the Jamaican Humanitarian Mission and volunteering locally with the University of Texas’ Give Kids a Smile program to improve children’s oral health.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Castillo embraces her role as a dedicated parent to her three children, balancing her career with supporting their activities in baseball, soccer, and dance. Her family remains her greatest joy, and she warmly welcomes conversations about their adventures.
